Dr. Kale Johnson joined Hamilton Veterinary Clinic in March 2025 and provides care for both large and small animals, with an emphasis on food animal medicine and reproduction.
Dr. Johnson earned his bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2016 and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M in 2020. He grew up primarily in the Texas Panhandle and graduated from Paradise High School in North Texas.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Johnson and his wife, Dr. Elizabeth, practiced mixed animal medicine in Kansas before joining a food animal reproduction-exclusive practice. In 2024, they returned to Texas to be closer to family, where Dr. Johnson worked with Trans Ova Genetics before joining Hamilton Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Johnson enjoys all aspects of mixed animal medicine, with particular interests in large animal reproduction, herd health, and surgery. His reproductive experience includes ovum pick-up (OPU), laparoscopic ovum pick-up (LOPU), conventional embryo flushing, embryo transfer, and artificial insemination.
Dr. Johnson and Dr. Elizabeth are excited to be part of the Hamilton community and enjoy the opportunity to serve clients in a small-town setting. In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys hunting, fishing, and working outdoors.
